Our coaches are looking to bolster their successful teams with additional talent from across the United Kingdom.
Moorland School has a history of consistently winning national and regional competitions, producing players who are capable of achieving professional contracts as well as maintaining strong professional partnerships with top-level clubs such as Blackburn Rovers and coaching staff who also work for Manchester City. Our 2021/22 football trials days will give young players the chance to showcase their talents and to begin their journey at one of the UK’s foremost Football Academies. Following a successful trial, places will be available for young people to join Moorland for an outstanding education alongside football academy training. A number of Football Scholarships, recognising talent will be available, enabling us to offer places to the greatest talent currently in the UK. Supplemental means-tested bursary support may also be applied for.

Places may be offered on a conditional basis with every student assessed on a variety of sporting and suitability criteria determined by our coaching staff and our senior leadership team. Every student will also be expected to pass an academic test to ensure suitability for admission into the school.
